In 2029, Garth Paine will take on two of the most demanding challenges in solo sailing — the Transat and the Mini Globe Race, navigating the globe alone in a hand-built 19-foot Globe 580 sailboat.

But Garth’s journey is about more than racing. It’s a call to action — a bold mission to inspire positive climate impact, raise awareness of ocean health, and advocate for clean seas through science, sustainability, and storytelling - a story of human resilience and adventure.

About the Founder

Garth Paine

Garth has been at the helm since the age of 10. By his twenties, he had already competed in two Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races, one of the world’s most grueling ocean events. He’s sailed across the UK, Europe, and the US, and is currently a proud member of the Pacific Single Handed Sailing Association.
